At the heart of this pickle is our mother, whose passion for traditional Punjabi pickles has been part of family meals for decades. For over half a century, she has prepared pickles using time-honoured methods, carefully balancing spices, mustard oil, and natural maturation to create the flavours that generations of our family have enjoyed.
Across Punjab, stuffed red chilli pickle has long been served alongside parathas, roti, dal, and everyday meals. While every household may have its own variation, the essence remains the same — whole red chillies generously stuffed with aromatic masala and patiently matured to develop their rich character.
At House of Goggi, we continue to follow these traditional methods. Our spices are naturally sun-dried under sunlight to bring out their full aroma and depth of flavour. After preparation, each batch is matured naturally in sunlight for 4–6 days, allowing the chillies, spices, and mustard oil to blend together beautifully.
This is not a pickle made in haste. It is a pickle crafted with patience, tradition, and the wisdom gained from more than 50 years of pickle-making experience.
